About Vprimocare

Marine Outfitting Hardware, Manufactured with Discipline

Vprimocare Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of deck fittings and mooring hardware based in Jingjiang, Jiangsu Province, China. Since 2002, the company has supplied bollards, roller fairleads, mooring chocks, chain stoppers and related deck equipment to shipyards, shipowners and marine distributors.

Who We Are

Vprimocare was established in 2002 as a foundry and machining workshop serving domestic shipyards. Over the years the company expanded into a full-line manufacturer of marine outfitting hardware and began exporting in the late 2000s. Today the product range covers mooring, anchoring, towing and crane applications for cargo vessels, tankers, offshore support vessels and workboats.

The company operates under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. All manufacturing, inspection and documentation procedures follow the applicable rules of classification societies, including CCS, DNV, ABS, LR and BV, and the requirements of JIS F for the Japanese market.

Our production remains concentrated at one facility in Jingjiang, Jiangsu Province, with goods forwarded to the Yangtze and coastal ports used for export shipment. This allows direct control of process quality and reduces handling between the foundry, machining shop and export packing.

Manufacturing

All core processes are performed in-house, including sand casting, heat treatment, welding, CNC machining, assembly and surface coating. Outsourcing is limited to specialised services such as large-tonnage heat treatment, which is performed by qualified subcontractors under our quality control.

  • Foundry — sand casting in cast steel grades ZG230-450 and ZG270-500 (GB/T 11352), with moulding capacity for deck fittings up to several tonnes per piece.
  • Heat treatment — normalising, quenching and tempering with furnace records retained per batch.
  • Welding — CO₂/MAG welding of Q355B (Q345B) structural steel; welding procedures and welder qualifications maintained per EN ISO 9606 / AWS D1.1.
  • Machining — CNC boring and milling for base plate flatness, roller journals and fastener holes.
  • Coating — abrasive blasting to SA 2.5, followed by epoxy zinc-rich primer and polyurethane topcoat, total dry film thickness not less than 160 µm; hot-dip galvanising available on request.

Quality System

Quality control follows a documented inspection and test plan for each order, from raw material release to final loading. The inspection record travels with the production batch and is archived for traceability.

  • Chemical composition and mechanical testing of each heat, with certificates issued to EN 10204 3.1, or 3.2 when third-party survey is specified.
  • In-process inspection at pattern, casting, machining and welding stages.
  • Non-destructive testing — magnetic particle (MT) or ultrasonic (UT) — on request for critical components such as crane hooks and welded load-bearing structures.
  • Final dimensional inspection and coating thickness measurement before packing.
  • Load testing performed on request under witness survey.
